OurBullyPulpit.com breaks down barriers to embrace and encourage new voices and alternative approaches in combatting the devastating impact of workplace bullying. The power of this initiative taps into today’s transmedia and new media interactive and participatory strategies highlighting a fresh dialog of ideas that create a virtual repository of credible and diverse information for journalists, practitioners, legislators, researchers and victim/targets. In today’s hotly polarized discourse it is more important than ever that advocates of this issue evolve and support the same ethical leadership and civil discourse, free of a monetary or proprietary agenda, that we demand of businesses. Site visitors are encouraged to add information and links to public domain “wiki” pages embedded in this site.
Our New Initiative
This interactive Internet-initiative brings together three powerful websites to create a rich and ever-growing repository of information, videos, testimonials and resources to help inform journalists, educators, practitioners, legislators and victims/targets about the tragic impact of workplace bullying. My goal is that others will take over and allow this digital clearing house to evolve as changes are adapted in the work environment. I will never forget the isolation and shame I felt when I was caught in the wake of a bullying boss. So, I am donating my time, expenses and energy to create this open project in the hopes that others can find some comforting information.
